Powertrain Engineer

What are we looking for in the ideal candidate: 

  • General knowledge about the automotive industry and how cars work. 

  • Knowledge and experience in applying engineering mathematics to solving problems 

  • Positive, can-do attitude, and willingness to learn new skills 

  • Ability to follow best practices and work on multiple tasks simultaneously 

 

Your work will include, but is not limited to:  

  • Getting your hands dirty in the garage 

  • Designing, manufacturing, and testing various components of the car, like the intake and exhaust systems 

  • Writing technical documentation 

  • Running various simulations and calculations 

 

Nice to have: 

  • Experience working in a team environment 

  • Practical experience and Hands-on approach to problem-solving 

  • Ability to logically and methodically investigate faults and failures 

  • Knowledge in CAD, CFD, or FEA software
