Great news! We are looking for a CFD Engineer.
Our CFD engineer’s focus will be simulating the flow through the intake and exhaust systems. Because the CBR600 engine is naturally aspirated, it’s performance will greatly depend on the resonance tuning between those two systems. He will need to perform all the necessary calculations and simulations and, if needed, modify the CAD designs in order to achieve the required performance. Furthermore, he will need to conduct heat transfer simulations to ensure the required reliability of the designed parts and to optimize the cooling system.
Responsabilties and duties
Prepare Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations for the intake and exhaust systems (using software like Ricardo WAVE or ANSYS Fluent)
Interpret results, propose recommendations for improvement and how changes will make an impact
Design parts, prepare for, and conduct, full-scale tests on 3D printed parts, and provide feedback
Prepare technical reports and documentation of activity for project management.
Qualifications and skills required
Good thermal transfer and fluid dynamics knowledge
Familiarity with geometry creation, simplification, and data management within CATIA
Experience in working with thermal and CFD simulation software
The candidate should have a big passion for motorsport
The ideal candidate should not like improvisations and must be a perfectionist, in order to get the tasks done in a textbook-like manner

Knowledge about fabrication processes
On-track racing experience
FEM and FEA experience
